How We Contribute
We have partnered with USPS and Operation Santa to help bring Christmas to every child in LA and Orange County. Our volunteers help choose letters from the most deserving families to help bring a little more Christmas joy. We also accept direct donations for our families as well. Being able to directly deliver gifts is such a special time for everyone involved in Helping Santa. There is nothing more rewarding than being able to bring joy to children's faces during the holidays.
Communications
Our volunteers spend a significant amount of time coordinating and managing all communication aspects of reaching out to families. Through this process, we are able to learn details such as what the family's needs are.
Letter Selection

Contact the Families
We contact each family to determine what their true needs and wants are for Christmas. We are also able to learn more about these families this way compared to what we would get out of only a letter.
Shopping Time
We assign our volunteers at Helping Santa each a family to shop for where they are able to personally choose what to get their families at their discretion. We also accept direct donations for our families as well.
That's a Wrap
We are always accepting volunteers to help shop and wrap presents at Helping Santa. In Santa's workshop it gives our volunteers and donators an even greater opportunity to appreciate what Helping Santa does for the community.
Deliver Gifts from Santa
Helping Santa volunteers and board of directors deliver the gifts to the recipient families. Being able to directly deliver gifts is such a special time for everyone involved in Helping Santa. There is nothing more rewarding than being able to bring joy to children's faces during the holidays.
